i-SITES

Nature Coast i-SITE Visitor Centres are the official source of Visitor Information for Kapiti Horowhenua. We are an accredited member of New Zealand's official Visitor Information Network (i-SITE) endorsed by Tourism New Zealand

The i-SITE team are on hand 7 days a week for accommodation, transport and activity bookings. As agents for Interislander and Bluebridge ferries, Tranzscenic trains, InterCity/Newman's Coaches and a large number of other transport operators this makes the Visitor Centres a one stop shop for national, international and even local residents wishing to make travel arrangements.

Stocked with a range of postcards, stamps, phonecards and local knowledge, visit Levin, Otaki i-SITE Visitor Centres or Paraparaumu Visitor Centre all located on State Highway One

Levin Tourism

Levin (pop. 19,000), the commercial center of a farming region in the western foreland of the Tararua Range, lies 93km northeast of Wellington, to which it supplies vegetables, milk and meat.

The town was founded in 1889 as a camp for railroad workers and was named after a director of the railroad company.
